Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, we graded our homework from Tuesday, giving students the opportunity to ask clarifying questions and check their work against that of Mr. Olsen, before jumping into section 3 and learning how to use function notation.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook, page 72, to be due on Friday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students were reviewing their knowledge of adding and subtracting like fractions.  After a bit of teacher led instruction and several examples, students were given 30 minutes of class time to complete an adding and subtracting like fractions worksheet in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #12 is due on Friday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Students were then learning about watersheds.  Students were defining what a watershed is and we had a class discussion on how we delineate watersheds, as well as potential impacts and benefits of human activities within watersheds.
