Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, we graded our homework from Monday, giving students the opportunity to ask clarifying questions and check their work against that of Mr. Olsen, before jumping back into section 2 on identifying functions as linear of nonlinear as well as using discrete or continuous data.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook, page 68, to be due on Wednesday in class.

The chapter 2 re-test is scheduled for Wednesday at lunch and after school.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students were playing a fraction and equivalent decimal war card game with a class mate.  


Assignments:  Review Homework #11 is due on Wednesday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Students were continuing to learn about the Earth's water cycle.  After a bit of teacher led instruction, students were finalizing their sketches of a diagram of the water cycle on heavyweight paper and adding color to the final product.
