Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students took an informal quiz on function notation, and how to graph an equation in slope intercept form.   Next, students were reviewing how to use function notation in order to solve and graph functions.  Today students were graphing horizontal and vertical lines as well as using intercepts to graph functions.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned the section 3.4 Practice A worksheet as homework, to be due on Monday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students were reviewing their knowledge of adding and subtracting unlike fractions.  Today students were adding rational numbers.  After a bit of teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students were assigned practice workbook page 32, to be due on Monday in class.

Assignments:  Practice workbook page 32 is due on Monday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students were blocking with social studies and we watched the film "The Patriot." 

Assignments: The writing prompts on google classroom is not due until Tuesday October 22.
