Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students jumped into chapter 3 and working with functions.  Students then reviewed function notation, before we transitioned into section 3.4 on graphing functions.  After some teacher led instruction on graphing horizontal and vertical lines, as well as calculating x and y intercepts, students were assigned the section 3.4 Practice A worksheet, to be due on Tuesday in class.

Assignments:  Students were assigned the section 3.4 Practice A worksheet, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with a Do Now and several Flashmaster activities, before students transitioned into chapter 2 and rational numbers.  Students warmed up by converting several fractions into decimals and several decimals into fractions and/or mixed numbers.  After some teacher led instruction and several more examples, students were assigned the section 2.1 Practice A worksheet (odds only), to be due on Tuesday in class.

Assignments: Review HW #15 is due Tuesday in class.  Students were assigned the section 2.1 Practice A worksheet (odds only), to be due on Tuesday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now. Students then continued our discussion on observations in science.  Student groups spent today's class period finalizing their posters so each group can meet the due date at the beginning of class on Tuesday.

Assignments:  None.
