Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students jumped into chapter 3 and working with functions.  We graded/reviewed our homework from Tuesday.  Students then transitioned back into section 2 on identifying functions by using tables, graphs, and equations.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned the practice workbook for section 3.2 (WB page 68, to be due on Thursday in class).

7th Grade Math: Students began class with a Do Now and several Flashmaster activities, before students transitioned into chapter 2 and rational numbers.  We spent todays class period reviewing how to add and subtract mixed numbers. After a bit of teacher led instruction, students were handed a worksheet and given class time to demonstrate their adding and subtracting mixed number abilities.  

Assignments: Review HW #11 is due Wednesday in class.  Students should be completing the back side of the adding and subtracting mixed numbers worksheet we began in class if they did not finish in the time provided.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now. Students then continued our discussion on observations in science.  We then transitioned back into their assigned dry ice experiment groups, and students were continuing the planning process for the upcoming experiments. Today student groups were finalizing their detailed material and procedures lists for their experiments.  

Assignments:  Students should be planning on how their groups will have all of their experiment materials on Thursday.
