Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students jumped into chapter 3 and working with functions.  We graded/reviewed our homework from Tuesday.  Students then transitioned back into section 2 and reviewed identifying functions by using tables, graphs, and equations. Next, students began identifying whether a data set is discrete or continuous.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some homework from the text book, page 118 & 119 #35-39 & 41, to be due on Friday in class.

Assignments: Students were assigned some homework from the text book, page 118 & 119 #35-39 & 41, to be due on Friday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with a Do Now and several Flashmaster activities, before students transitioned into chapter 2 and rational numbers.  We spent todays class period reviewing how to multiply fractions and rational numbers. After a bit of teacher led instruction, students were handed a worksheet and given class time to demonstrate their multiplying fraction abilities.

Assignments: Review HW #12 is due Friday in class.  Students should be completing the back side of the multiplying fractions worksheet we began in class if they did not finish in the time provided.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now. Students then continued our discussion on observations in science.  We then transitioned back into their assigned dry ice experiment groups, and students were continuing the planning process for the upcoming experiments. Today student groups were putting all of their planning into action, and completed their designed experiments in a block period with Mr. Sheufelt.

Assignments:  None.
