Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students jumped into chapter 3 and working with functions.  Students then went over the homework (the practice workbook activities from section 3.6), before Mr. Olsen led students through a lesson on horizontal and vertical translations. We did several practice problems together in class, identifying the presentation format and what clues to look for when deciding what type of transformation is occurring within the given problem.  Students were then assigned homework from the text book, page 151 #5-10, to be due on Thursday in class.
