Algebra I: Students began class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Students were then introduced to chapter 9 and working with radicals.  We continued with section 1, and today students were working with operations and radicals.  After some teacher led instruction and several practice problems on working with the properties of radicals, students were assigned some homework from the text book, page 487 #71; 74; 75-89, to be due on Friday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now and the problem of the day.  Next, students how to calculate discounts and markups.  Students were then given class time to begin working with the simple interest formula.  Students were introduced to the simple interest formula, and we had a class discussion each part of the formula.  Then students used the remaining class time to work on practice workbook page 137 and activity one.

Assignments:  Review Homework #54 is due on Friday in class.  Practice workbook page 137 is due on Friday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  We then transitioned back into the Speed Challenge Lab we began on Tuesday in class.  Today students were completing the back side of the data sheet, and answering questions related to the data they collected in class on Tuesday using the distance formula.

Assignments: None.
