Algebra I: Students began class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Students were then introduced to chapter 9 and working with radicals.  Today, we jumped back into section four on  solving quadratic equations by completing the square and finding the maximum and minimum values of quadratic equations.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some homework from the text book, page 511 #25-31 odds and 41; 43; 52, to be due on Friday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now and the problem of the day.  Next, students were given the class period to complete their chapter 6 test.  As students finished up their tests, they began working on practice workbook pages 141-145, to be due on Friday in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #56 is due on Friday in class.  Practice workbook pages 141-145 are due on Friday in class. 

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  We then transitioned back into a class discussion on velocity, acceleration and an introduction to Newton's three laws of motion.
Students then began building their own accelerometers.  

Assignments: None.
