Algebra I: Students began class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Students were then introduced to chapter 9 and working with radicals.  After some teacher led instruction and several practice problems on working with the properties of radicals, students were assigned some homework from the text book, page 486 #39-43 odds, 46-54 evens, 55-59, 62 to be due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now and the problem of the day.  Next, students reviewed the percent proportion (the box method) and the percent equation, and how to use them, before we reviewed how to calculate discounts and markups.  Students were then given class time to complete practice workbook page 136, and the section 6.6 Practice A worksheet.

Assignments:  Review Homework #54 is due on Friday in class.  The section 6.6 Practice A worksheet is due on Thursday in class.

Science:  Students who didn't attend the Pillars of America program, watched a documentary entitled "Chasing Ice."

Assignments: None.
