Algebra I: Students began class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Students were then introduced to chapter 9 and working with radicals.  After some teacher led instruction and several practice problems on working with the properties of radicals, students were assigned some homework from the text book, page 485 #5-11 odds, 14-20 evens, 21-25, 29 and 30, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now and the problem of the day.  Next, students reviewed the percent proportion (the box method) and the percent equation, and how to use them, before we reviewed how to calculate percent increases and percent decreases.  Students then began working with how to find discounts of sale items and markups of original prices.

Assignments:  Review Homework #53 is due on Wednesday in class.  

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now, before we transitioned into our next unit on Forces of Motion.  Students participated in a calculating speed lab, by working with partners to preform several different motions, and then timing themselves over set distances in order to then calculate their speed over that given distance.

Assignments: None.
