Algebra I: Students began class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Students were then introduced to chapter 9 and working with radicals.  Today, we jumped right into section three on solving quadratic equations using square roots and approximating the solutions of quadratic equations.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned practice workbook pages 289 & 290, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now and the problem of the day.  Next, students were given the class period to complete the chapter 6 review activity handed out by Mr. Olsen.  Students worked together to complete the activity and prepare for the chapter 6 test on Wednesday in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #55 is due on Wednesday in class.  The chapter 6 test is scheduled for Wednesday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now.  We then transitioned into a unit on sports balls and the materials used to create the ball and how the materials are distributed and how those given materials may cause the ball to act.  Students were then given class time to complete the observation process and measuring the cross sections of several different types of sports balls.  Students ended class by answering several questions designed to help them process the work they completed in class.

Assignments: None.
