Algebra I: Students began class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  We then jumped into back chapter 8 and continued our discussion of graphing quadratic functions.  Students reviewed standard form, vertex form as well as intercept form.  We also reviewed how to identify linear, exponential and quadratic functions from given data.  Students were then introduced to how to choose what type of function would be needed to graph a given data set.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook, page 273 #1-4 and page 274 #5-6, to be due on Wednesday in class.

Assignments:  Students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook, page 273 #1-4 and page 274 #5-6, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now and the problem of the day.  Next, students reviewed the percent proportion to help when finding parts, wholes and or percents.  Next, students took a mock quiz to see where they stand as far as memorizing the 17 fraction, decimal and percent equivalents they need to memorize by this Friday.

Assignments:  Review Homework #52 is due on Thursday in class.  Students can and should be studying their fractions, decimals and percents for the test on April 13th.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now before we transitioned to displaying the final products of our element advertisements on the hallway Periodic Table our classes created.  Students then spent some class time completing a project self evaluation covering the Selling the Elements project we just completed.

Our Chemistry Unit Test is scheduled for this Thursday April 12th.

Assignments: Students should be completing their project self evaluation for class on Wednesday if they did not finish in the class time provided.
