Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students were introduced to chapter 3 and working with functions. After a brief introduction to functions by Mr. Olsen, students were given class time to work on the practice workbook activities in the workbook, pages 59-61. These workbook pages will be due on Tuesday in class.
The chapter 2 RE-Test is scheduled for this Wednesday at lunch and after school.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now and their flashmaster. Next, students began working with like and unlike fraction operations. After some teacher led instruction and a few reminders of how to add and subtract like and unlike fractions, students were handed a packet and were given class time to start working on the packet. The packet will be due on Wednesday.
Assignments: Review HW #9 is due on Wednesday in class. The like and unlike fraction packet will be due on Wednesday in class.
Science: Today in science, students got into their Local Ecology Project groups, and the groups began finalizing their groups plot location narrative as well as beginning the process of identifying and classifying the plant specimens we collected from our LEP plots last week.
