Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students jumped back into chapter 3, section 6.  Today students continued working with translations and reflections of linear equations.  Students were also introduced to horizontal and vertical stretches and shrinks.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some homework from the text book pages 151-152 #13-16; 19; 21; 29; 31; 32; 34, to be due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students did not have math class today due to the Princess Sophia Opera field trip for all 7th graders.

Assignments:  Review Homework #14 is due Thursday in class.  The adding and subtracting integers worksheet we began in class on Tuesday is due on Thursday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students got into their Local Ecology Project groups and went outside to their established plots to collect our data needed for the month of October.
