Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students jumped back into chapter 3, section 5. After some teacher led instruction and several examples of review on standard form and how to find x & y intercepts, as well as how to graph a line in slope intercept form, students were assigned section 3.5 Practice B worksheet, to be due on Monday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now and their flashmaster or the Problem of the Day. Next, students were introduced to subtracting integers. Students learned that in order to use the rules of adding integers when subtracting, they need to rewrite the subtraction problem as an addition problem by adding the opposite of the second term. After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned practice workbook page 14 as homework, to be due on Monday in class.

Science: Today in science, students defined several vocabulary words, and then read pages 10-13 of the From Bacteria to Plants text book, and answered several questions related to the reading.
