Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students jumped into chapter 3 and working with functions. After some teacher led instruction and several examples of how to identify discrete or continuous data sets as well as how to graph the domain and range, students were then assigned some homework from the text book, pages 118-119 #35-39; and 41, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now and their flashmaster. Next, students went down to the library and checked out their math textbooks and practice workbooks. When we got back to class, students were given class time to complete a text book scavenger hunt, designed to help students learn how to navigate the text and familiarize themselves with the text.
Assignments: Review HW #11 is due on Wednesday in class.
Science: Today in science, students got into their Local Ecology Project groups, and they were introduced to the Taku Watershed Poster Project. After a brief introduction to what is to be expected of each group, student groups were handed a packet of research information that each group then divided amongst themselves in order to begin researching their assigned portion of the project.
This project will be due at the beginning of class on Wednesday October 17.
