Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students jumped into chapter 3 and working with functions. After some teacher led instruction and several examples of how to identify functions, and dependent and independent variables, students were assigned workbook page 63. Workbook page 63 is due on Wednesday in class.
The chapter 2 RE-Test is scheduled for this Wednesday at lunch and after school.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now and their flashmaster. Next, students began working with like and unlike fraction operations. After some teacher led instruction and a few reminders of how to add and subtract like and unlike fractions, students were given class time to continue working on the fraction packet. The packet will be due on Wednesday.
Assignments: Review HW #9 is due on Wednesday in class. The like and unlike fraction packet will be due on Wednesday in class.
Science: Today in science, students got into their Local Ecology Project groups, and the groups finalized their groups plot location narrative as well as completing the process of identifying and classifying the plant specimens we collected from our LEP plots last week.
