Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before students jumped back into chapter 3, section 4 and an introduction to section 5 and working with functions in standard form and slope intercept form. After some teacher led instruction and several examples of review on standard form and how to find x & y intercepts, as well as how to graph a line in slope intercept form, students were assigned some work from the practice workbook, page 79-81 as homework, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now and their flashmaster or the Problem of the Day. Next, students were continuing to add integers. Students review the definitions of what positive and negative integers are as well as opposites, before we reviewed the song to help us remember the rules adding and subtracting integers. After a bit of teacher led instruction and several examples, students were given class time to complete the section 1.2 Practice A worksheet. This worksheet will be due on Wednesday in class.

Science: Today in science, students got into their Local Ecology Project groups, and they were given class time to complete a self evaluation as well as a group evaluation of the work done to complete the poster project on time.
Assignments: Students should be completing their self and group evaluations for the Taku Watershed Poster Project as homework if they did not finish in the class time provided.
