Assignments:  None.

8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Problem of the Day.  Next, students jumped back into our discussion on place value.  Students turned in their Review Homework #2 assignment before we continued identifying the place value of certain digits in a number. Students were then handed a place value worksheet and were asked to complete the work by Tuesday of next week.

Assignments:  The place value worksheet handed out in class today will be due on Tuesday morning in class.

Science: Today in science students began class with the Do Now.  Next, students were given the remaining time in class to begin working on the rough draft of their Scientific Summer project, that was introduced to the students on Thursday.  The project will be due on Friday September 6th.

Assignments:  Students should be coming to class on Tuesday with at least paragraph one of the Scientific Summer assignment completed.  Students will have time in class on Tuesday to work on paragraph two.
