8th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now. Students then transitioned back into chapter 4. Students spent todays class period reviewing and practicing how to create tables of x,y values in order to plot the points and graph a linear equation. The stained glass equations worksheet will be due on Tuesday in class.
Assignments: Review HW #40 is due Wednesday in class. The stained glass equations worksheet will be due on Tuesday in class.
7th Grade Math: Today in math students began class with the Do Now. Students spent todays class period reviewing how to solve systems of equations through graphing and creating/using a table to find x, y coordinates in order to find the point of intersection or the solution for the system of equations. Students worked together to put together a system of equations to solve a word problem, before we transitioned into section 5.2 and using substitution to solve systems of equations. The section 5.2 activities from the workbook (pages 105-107) are due Tuesday in class.
Assignments: Review HW #40 is due Wednesday in class. Students were asked to complete the activities for section 5.2 out of the workbook (pages 105-107) for class on Tuesday.
Science: Today in science, students began class with the Do Now. Students spent today's class period wrapping up the chemistry unit by grading the tests and watching a Bill Nye the science guy Chemical Reactions film.
Assignments: None.
