Algebra I:  Students are expected to continue working remotely through chapter 9 by checking out our Algebra Google Classroom for updated section notes and official assignments that will be posted to the Big Ideas website.

So, students please log in to your school accounts, and go to our Taku Algebra Google Classroom page for access to the notes and suggested practice problems before accessing Clever and then navigating to our Taku Algebra class on the Big Ideas website.  Hopefully, you will see the assignments I created waiting for you.  Please have a notebook out in front of you as you work through the problems.  Please continue practicing the habit of showing your work as you complete each problem.  Remember that we preform as we practice, so keep practicing good habits!  

Assignments:   THE CHAPTER 8 TEST IS SCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29TH ON THE BIG IDEAS WEBSITE.  The test will go live at 8am and you will have until 8am on Monday May 3 to complete your work and submit the test.  The chapter 9.1 notes will be posted to our google classroom by Wednesday afternoon.  

7th Grade Math: Students are being asked to log into their school google accounts and then go to the www.myascendmath.com website and begin working through the individualized math plan developed for you after completing the pre-course assessment the site prompted you to take after joining the site and our class on Ascend Math.  Students should be putting about 20-30 minutes of time each day on Ascend Math.  

Assignments:  Students should be spending between 20-30 minutes a day on Ascend Math working through your individualized plan developed by completing the pre-course assessment you took when registering for the site.  

Science:  Hello Science students!  I hope everyone is healthy and finding ways to keep busy.  I would like to encourage all students to join the google classrooms associated with the modules you choose to complete within the Take House Online Modules unit the teachers have pushed out to all of you.  All students are expected to complete at least two modules from the Social Studies options and at least two modules from the Science options listed.  In addition, all students should complete at least two modules from the Toolbox modules as well.  All of these module expectations are due by May 1.  So students should be finalizing their work within these modules and preparing to submit their final assignments by THIS FRIDAY, May 1st.

Assignments: All six modules (two social studies, two science modules, and two toolbox modules) are due to be submitted by 3pm on Friday May 1st.

Assignments:  Students should be spending between 20-30 minutes a day on Prodigy working through our unit on Ratios and proportions.

Here is an option to try when attempting to access the Big Ideas site. 

Log into your school account.
Open a new browser window and type in Big Ideas login.
Hopefully, there is an option to login with Clever near the bottom of the page.
Click that Login with Clever button!
