8th Grade Math: Students began class with the problem of the day before students jumped back in to section 3.6 and solving multi-step inequalities. Students did the even problems on the 3.6 worksheet yesterday, and today we completed the odds during class.

We then began chapter 4 and number patterns and fractions. Today we introduced prime factorization, took some notes, and did an example problem together.

Each student was to listen to the heartbeat of two of their classmates for one minute each. The third activity was a coloring worksheet that re-enforces the concepts of the circulatory system from last week.

We spent the rest of the hour going over the rules and doing several practice problems as a class. Students were asked to solve an equation on their own as an exit ticket.
