7th Grade Math: Today students began class with their flashmasters before having a class-wide discussion concerning the quality of work handed in from the Hemlock Cone Activity. We then began chapter 4 and number patterns and fractions. Today we introduced prime factorization, took some notes, and did an example problem together.

Science: Today in science students continued working and learning about the skeletal system. Students took the first twenty five minutes of class to complete a reading and answer some associated questions, before transitioning into an activity where students were given fifteen bones found in the human body and asked to use a dictionary to define each and locate them in the body.
Assignments: Finish the Skeletal System worksheet if they did not complete it in the class time provided.
