Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a set of warm up problems, before we graded our homework.  Next, students continued working with absolute value equations.  After a bit of teacher led instruction and class discussion, students were assigned some homework in the practice workbook (pages 20-21 #1-9).  These problems will be due on Thursday in class.

Assignments: Students were assigned some homework in the practice workbook (pages 20-21 #1-9).  These problems will be due on Thursday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with a Do Now and several Flashmaster activities, before students continued our conversation on note-taking strategies we began on Tuesday. Students were introduced to (or in some cases, reviewed) what Cornell Notes are and how to use them effectively to find success in the classroom.  Students watched a video entitled "Take Note of what you wrote" before we had a class discussion on how to summarize the important information presented during a class period.

Assignments: Review Homework #3 is due on Friday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now. Students then turned in their Scientific Summer projects.  Next, students completed a self evaluation of their work habits during this project.  We then transitioned into determining the differences between observations and inferences in science.

Assignments:  None.
