8th Grade Math: Students began class with the problem of the day before students jumped back into chapter 4 and today we learned about the rules of exponents. We reviewed multiplying and dividing powers, and did several example problems, before Mr. Olsen handed out a worksheet for students to practice their skills.
Assignments: None.
7th Grade Math: Today students began class with their flashmasters before jumping back into chapter 4. Today we continued the review process for the chapter test on Friday.
Assignments: None...though, the chapter 4 test is tomorrow (Friday).
Science: Today in science students were introduced to the concept of photosynthesis. We began class with a group discussion reviewing plants and the process of photosynthesis, and related that to todays subject of respiration. After some class discussion, students were then handed a worksheet to complete verifying their understanding.
