Algebra I: Students began class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, students took a quiz on polynomials.  We then continued our discussion on factoring polynomials.  After a bit of teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some homework from the text book and section 7.6, page 395 #1-8 and #9-21 odds, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now and the problem of the day.  Next, students were introduced to direct variation.  After a bit of teacher led instruction, students were given class time to complete the practice workbook activities on pages 107-108 during class.

Assignments: Review HW #44 is due on Wednesday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now, before students were learning about Bohr Diagrams and Lewis Structures, both methods of displaying information about electrons of a given element.  After some teacher led instruction, students were filling in a practice guiding worksheet, modeling electrons for different elements with both Bohr Diagrams and Lewis structures.
