Algebra I: Students began class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  We then jumped into chapter 8 and continued our discussion of graphing quadratic functions.  After a bit of teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook, pages 248 & 249 #1-10, to be due on Wednesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began class with the Do Now and the problem of the day.  Next, students jumped back into chapter 6 and converting fractions to decimals and percents and vise versa.  After a bit of teacher led instruction, and several examples problems, students were given class time to begin working on the section 6.1 Practice A worksheet, which will be due on Wednesday in class.

Assignments: Review HW #46 is due on Wednesday in class.  The section 6.1 Practice A worksheet is due on Wednesday in class.

Science:  Students began class with the Do Now, before students we graded our Periodic Table Basics quiz.  Next, students were introduced to element bonding.  Students filled in a data table based on valance electrons and assigning each element on the table an oxidation number.
