Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Today students were graphing horizontal and vertical lines as well as using intercepts to graph functions.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook pages 79-81, to be due on Tuesday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students were reviewing their knowledge of adding and subtracting unlike fractions.  Today students were subtracting (and adding) rational numbers.  After a bit of teacher led instruction and a few example problems, students were assigned a worksheet with 8 adding and subtracting rational numbers worksheet, to be due on Tuesday in class.

Assignments:  Review Homework #14 is due on Wednesday in class.  The adding and subtracting rational numbers worksheet assigned in class is due on Tuesday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Students were then completing an assignment on our google classroom involving writing prompts related to the Switzer Creek watershed.  

Assignments: The writing prompts on google classroom is due on Tuesday October 22.
