Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Next, we graded our homework from the weekend, giving students the opportunity to ask clarifying questions and check their work against that of Mr. Olsen, before jumping into section 2 on identifying functions as linear of nonlinear.  After some teacher led instruction and several examples, students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook, page 64-66, to be due on Tuesday in class.

The chapter 2 re-test is scheduled for Wednesday at lunch and after school.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students were playing a fraction and equivalent decimal war card game with a class mate.  

Assignments:  Review Homework #11 is due on Wednesday in class.

Science:  Today in science, students began class with the Do Now.  Students were then learning about the Earth's water cycle.  After a bit of teacher led instruction, students were sketching a diagram of the water cycle on heavyweight paper.
