Today in class students began solving equations with variables and writing equations based on verbal sentences (section 2.4). After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned the section 2.4 worksheet as homework, to be due Friday in class. Students can expect a quiz on identifying and simplifying variable expressions on Friday in class.
