Algebra I:  Students began math class with the Do Now and the Problem of the Day.  Today students were reviewing translating and reflecting linear functions.  Students then jumped back into section 6 on horizontal and vertical stretches and shrinks.  We reviewed the format and presentation of the functions and how to identify the type of transformation, before taking some class time to build a foldable in an effort to provide students another opportunity to keep track of all the details involved with transforming linear functions.   After some teacher led instruction and a few examples, students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook, page 89,  to be due on Friday in class.

Assignments:  Students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook, page 89,  to be due on Friday in class.

7th Grade Math: Students began math class with the Do Now and a problem of the day.  Next, students continued working on the chapter 2 test.  We will finish the test on Friday in class.

Assignments:  Students were handed a Halloween-themed EXTRA CREDIT packet that will be due on Monday November 4th.

Science:  No science class today as we celebrated Halloween with some fun, games and a movie before a school wide assembly to close the day.

Assignments: Students can be working on their digital posters of the layers of the atmosphere and the layers of the Earth.
