Science: Today in science students were introduced to the concept of cell division. We began with a class discussion about the three main phases of cell division, the interphase, the mitosis phase, and cytokinesis phase. Within mitosis, there are four more stages, prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. Today students began class reviewing the three main phases of cell division before jumping into mitosis. Students then began the next project, where they will build posters illustrating the cell division cycle.
