Algebra I: Today in math students began class with a Do Now and a warm up problem.  Next, students were continuing to work with chapter 8 and graphing polynomials.  Students reviewed how to graph the parent function of a given quadratic equation and how that function is being transformed by different a and c values.  Students were then introduced to working with a function of the form y = ax2 + bx + c.  After some teacher led instruction and several example problems, students were assigned some homework from the practice workbook pages 255-257, to be due on Friday in class.
